Beautiful sunflowers! How tall do they get?
There's just something about sunflowers that make people happy.
Mine always grow thin is there any reason for this ????
Don't let your tomato's ripen on the vine!!! Pick them as soon as they "turn." The plant just want's to make "seed." Production slows when the plant accomplishes making "seed." Keep picking them and the plant keeps producing!!!
By the time you've brought all the things your to adding to this old compost might well buy new 😅
By the time you grow some vegetables from your garden, you might as well go get it from the store😅
I am excited I just bought some plants,,,,I will let u know how it turns out,,,,Pray 4 me,,,LOL
Wishing you a great and fruitful harvest. happy growing!
You are an awesome farmer u are very good @ what u do,,,I have been following u 4 a long time,,,,,BRAVO
Thank you very much for your comment!
Just planted 3 brandywine pink and a sun sugar. I don’t even like tomatoes but wanted to try them anyway! 🤷🏽♂️
You don't like tomatoes for now. Once you harvest one and taste it, you will be in love with your own grown tomatoes. happy growing and thank you for sharing.
@@TowardGarden haha right! It’s my first year growing anything and I’m so excited. I have a container garden going with 2 asparagus, 2 potatoes, blueberries, 2 squash, 2 zucchini, some beets, those tomatoes I recently got, watermelon and cucumbers! Will add more eventually but I gotta make some more dirt first lol
Omg that music is so annoying
UA-cam has the mute option just for you. use it.
So thankful i found your videos! Yes, as mentioned by others...so straightforward and it is much appreciated
So delighted to hear it. Welcome to the channel and thank you so much for your comment!😊
How much did it cost for the homemade trellis?
It costs around $50 but I use the materials for many other crops. The wire mesh will last a long time to be reused many years. Thank you for visiting!
I got a roy pumpkin seeds. The picture drawn on cover is black in color. Can it turn into yellow.
Usually pumpkins turn from green to yellow/orange. Never heard of a roy pumpkin or black pumpkin. Thanks.
I am so suprised how yours turned out in Day9! I planted mine 5 days ago and nothing is coming out. Maybe I did something wrong😢
The timeline in the video only serves as a guideline. It will defer from season to season and plants to plants on same variety. Also, seedling will grow slowly if the weather is cold. If you don't see any activity in 2 weeks, most probably the seeds have gone rotten and you need to start over in a sterilized soil. Happy growing and thank you for visiting.
Thanks for the advice! It actually came out yesterday after I posted here😊
@saraning498 wonderful🥳🥳
Hello, I really like your garden, I'm building my garden, please come visit me
Hello. Thank you and happy gardening.
Okay po ba itanim pag walang sunlight
Eggplants need plenty of sunlight to grow to their best. You will not harvest good fruits without sunlight. Thanks for visiting.
Maybe at in metric sizes and kg for non us viewers
I'll try to include both as much as possible. thanks.
Do you need to remove the first buds even when you live in a milder climate? It shortens the flowering time.
it helps plants establish roots more faster and be more resistant to disease. 2-3 less fruits is minimal comparing to tens you will harvest in many weeks. it is totally up to you . Thanks for visiting.
Will it grow in Indian weather?
I don't know haw exactly the weather is in you area but if you have warm spring weathers, you can grow them at 15-25°C . If too hot, move pots in part shade. Hope this helps and thank you for visiting.
@@TowardGarden it tropical here around 30°c to 40°c mostly humid. Early morning will be misty and chill.
@@arjunjawahar8110 I think yes, you can grow them. If it is too hot, you can move oregano plants to a shady spot, but other than that, they will thrive in tropical climate. Give it a try. happy growing!🌱
@@TowardGarden I will try and let you know
I love this video...thank you. New subscriber.
So glad to hear it. Welcome to the channel and thank you so much for subscribing and for your comment! 😊
You water your seedlings the same as me! Poke some holes in a water bottle. I’ve tried so many different watering pales & this works the best.
Right on! the best way to gently water the seedlings. Thank you so much for your comment!
I love your wire mesh trellis, I have looked it up and can’t seem to find it anywhere, do you have a link where you got it!
I got the wire mesh from my local garden center. It is sold as tomato wire but I couldn't find the exact item online. I have listed similar wire mesh on my amazon page if interested: amzn.to/3VaYoXf or amzn.to/4by1xGl . You may also use regular welded wire fence 16 Gauge 2"x4" or 2x3" mesh available in major retailers like Home depot or Lowes with the same function and no major effect on growing. I hope this helps and thank you so much for your comment!
Do you use a greenhouse to germinate the seeds into seedlings? Or indoors? Or outside until transplant?
I keep my seed trays indoors (at room temperature) until the seedlings sprout. As soon as they pop out, I move them outside in indirect sunlight (under a patio umbrella), or 3-4 hours of direct early morning sunlight. You can bring them in at nights if temperature drops below 50F (10C). If it is too cold, you can use a cold frame or a clear storage tote with some holes added on the walls as a small green house. I hope this answers your questions and thank you for your visiting.
Hey! I am looking to start growing my own watermelon (sugar babies) due to having a smaller growing space. When you say “Seed starting mix” do you mean use a seed starting mix on top of the coir+perlite or would I be using the coir+perlite as the seed starting mix?
My seed mix is coir+perlite. But any seed mix available works too. Check this video ua-cam.com/video/cJZcGDAro6w/v-deo.htmlsi=bRfyVPAmbWtplkz5 for the my seed starting recipe. Happy growing and thank you for visitung.
How deep the container needed
Any pot at least 6 in (15cm)deep will work. Thanks for visiting.
How do you know if the carrot is ready to harvest
You can move the soil around and check the roots to see if they are well formed and about the supposed size of the planted variety. Or simply pull out one or two out and check if they are ready. Hope this helps and thank you for getting in touch!
Looking delicious 🥕
Thank you very much for your comment!😊
That works. I break the roots up and leave them in the soil, they break down extremely fast into compost and feed the soil;plants. Used potting soil can always be recharged. Also, watering with liquid fertilizer helps.
Sounds great. Thank you for sharing!
I am a New subscriber. Thanks a lot for sharing this. Shouldn't we thin seedlings? Or its better not to disturb them?
Happy to have you with us👋 Chives usually starts in 1-2 stems but grow more as they mature. even if you thin seedlings and plant them individually, they will grow in bunches (in weeks). But if you decide to separate seedlings at the time of planting, just like onions disturbing roots is not an issue and they will thrive. Hope this helps and thank you so much for your comment and for subscribing!😊
@@TowardGarden thanks a lot for clarifying.. I really appreciate your help.
@SA-nk8sc glad to be of any help. Happy gardening!
Me seeds never grow. It breaks my heart. I don’t know what I do wrong!!!
It can be the seeds, the soil you plant them in, or the temperature. Start with a good packet of seeds, a clean seed starting mix, and keep seed tray warm. Hope yo have a better results next time. Good luck! 🌱
Your 🍅 🍅 are beautiful, I can't wait to try them this spring. I'm in the southern hemisphere so my spring starts in September. Your tutorials always inspire me, thank you. Enjoy your harvest.

Thanks, I've been wondering how I could revive and reuse my old potting soil.
Glad I could help! Thank you very much for your comment!
I need to watch more 😈
If you mean my video, then definitely. Thanks for visiting😁
Curious your personal opinion between using grow bags and plastic food grade buckets. I’m growing a pepper in a bucket to better success than I did in my raised beds 😂. Thanks again for the great videos
Depending on the growing condition both can work great. Grow bags have better drainage and aeration for roots, but need more watering. Plastic pots need less watering but plants may be root-bound. I can relate to you because my plants do better in pots than a raised bed. But gardening is a personal journey and everyone finds what best work for them. happy growing and thank you so much for your comment!🌱
I have never seen a yellow carrot? We dont have them here, only orange ones?
the seeds are available at Baker Creek seeds www.rareseeds.com/carrot-uzbek-golden . They ship to different places. Give them a try. happy gardening.

Hallo how do i know which fliwer is male and which is female
hello, female flowers have tiny fruits (like a tiny watermelon) attached at the base. But the male flower don't have any fruits attached. It is shown in the video too. Thanks for visiting.

@OhMyKiwiCats Love to hear it. Thank you so much for your support!😊
How do you keep the squash bugs from taking over?
For pests damaging leaves such as aphids, cucumber beetles, squash bug, try to monitor the plants and control with the first sign of their presence. I spray Spinosad mix amzn.to/4bekyNx or neem oil mix amzn.to/4bdTE8L when I notice them. Hope this helps and thank you for visiting!
@@TowardGarden Thank you for the recommendations!
Does this work with green peppers as well?
Yes, it works for all types of bell peppers. Thanks for visiting.
Do you have to keep watering them in their original container? I started mine and they’re still moist (been two weeks). So I’m not sure if I need to keep adding a bit of water. I don’t want to keep them too wet because I have so many gnats around them😭
You can check my video on how to water seedlings ua-cam.com/video/AIeiB31yEJw/v-deo.htmlsi=BuVhL4GxFMX9Kjj- . Keep soil moist but not soggy and skip watering if soil is wet. For gnats, it is critical to take care of two issues. First is the flying gnats. You can use yellow stickers around the seedlings to catch them. But second and most importantly, is their eggs/larvae in the soil that harm the roots and plants. For that the most effective is using Mosquito Bits, which is a biological larvicide. I have listed both on my amazon page for your reference: amzn.to/44F00LL , amzn.to/3QGOYjz . Hope this helps and happy growing!
@@TowardGarden thank you soooo much!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for your comment!😊
Beautiful. I planted my banana pepper, corn and tomato seeds on 5/6. Im in zone 7 hoping for the best because I may having waited to late to plant the seeds.
I don't think so. Some tomatoes need a long warm season but not all. Peppers and corn do totally fine when weather is warmer. Hope you will have a great harvest. Happy growing and thank you for your comment!
